Celebrating babies

Who wouldn't want to look at baby stuff? :) I spent a good portion of the last week making new baby congrats cards and this "baby sleeping" door knob hanger.

I made it for my friend Theresa to give to a friend who recently became a dad to twin boys. The outside edge of this project is a photo mat. That's it! A simple mat used for framing you photos. I covered it in Echo Park paper and went on from there.

How cute are these adorable little chicks?! I just couldn't pass them up. They are from Martha Stewart. The tree and cloud, too. The inside transparency is from Hambly and the letter stickers are Sassafras Lass.

I used fabric covered brads to hold the ribbon in place. It looks so much nicer than just gluing the ribbon to the back of the mat.

Tomorrow I have some baby cards to share with you, too. Thanks for joining me today for some baby inspiration!
