Top 12 Favorites of 2012
So, you already saw my Imaginisce favorites from 2012. In addition to that post, I'm doing a 12 Favorites of 2012. To avoid repetition, I am keeping Imaginisce out of it, but that doesn't mean those pages aren't a part of the amazing 2012 that I had.

Right Here, Right Now {paper issues}
I was so excited to receive this amazing set from NKat Design for the Right Here, Right Now challenge and blog hop from Paper Issues. So many wonderful pieces that are perfect for Project Life.
Here is what you need to do to win:
1. Like Paper Issues on Facebook 2. Like NKat Designs on Facebook 3. Link up a project on the Paper Issues blog!
These pages are about the trip we took in November to the Rochester Museum and Science Center. We went to see the exhibit called A T-Rex Named Sue. If it comes to a museum near you, it's totally worth the visit if you have a little dino fan at home.
Lots of great tags and layering pieces in the NKat Design kits, so I highly recommend them. Below you can see how I layered a note card piece with a green tag and then another smaller tag.
Here is the hop order if you are along for the hop:

U light up my life {cocoa daisy}
Did you stop by the Cocoa Daisy reveal night last night? If you did, you saw the debut of the Pemberley kit and all of the wonderful add ons. Here is the layout I made using the kit.
I love the font varieties for this month. After getting the Mr. Darcy add on, I ended up with a lot of choices.
How fun is that turquoise punchanilla?! So fun! And it works great as a mask, too. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. It's addicting.
Thanks for stopping in to see my layout! Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Mini tag album {cocoa daisy}
Do you ever have that favorite project you make out of one kit? This is that project for me. I made this mini using the Cocoa Daisy January add-on kit called Mr. Darcy and it is my favorite out of all the projects I made using the Pemberley January kit.
I cut the tags from my Cameo and then started to mask some of them using distressing ink and the turquoise punchanilla in the kit. It made great dots on the background.
The kit will debut tonight at 9 p.m. (EST) on the Cocoa Daisy forum. I am hosting, so I would love it if some friendly faces showed up to play along, win some prizes and just get to know us all over there.

Closing up the 2012 year with Imaginisce
This week the 2012 Design Team at Imaginisce is saying their goodbye. Even though I am staying on in 2103, it is still nice to reflect on what I created this past year with Imaginisce.
You may have come to my blog from Ilene's blog or the Imaginisce blog. Go back to Imaginisce to start at the beginning of the hop. I am also the last stop on today's hop, so go back to Imaginisce when you are finished commenting here.
Comments from the designers blogs and the Imaginisce blog will be counted for a giveaway. Check the Imaginisce blog today and tomorrow for your chance to win.
Here are just a handful of my favorite projects. Looking though all of my projects, I think I loved the Hello Cupcake collection the most. It is a bright and cheery line. Plus they had a 6x6 paper pad for that collection, which is my favorite size to work with, so it makes sense that I gravitated to that line.
I want to say THANK YOU to Imaginisce for having me as a
part of their Design Team in 2012.
I sincerely enjoyed the past year working with Cari, Bridget, Don and the rest of the team. Even though I
will be working with Imaginisce again in 2013, a part of me is sad to see some of the girls moving on. I am so
glad that I got to work with you
ladies and loved seeing your projects.
Thanks again to Imaginisce
for having me in 2012 — and inviting me back for 2013! Looking forward to another amazing experience!

Sneak peeks {cocoa daisy}
This Friday, 12/28, at 9 p.m. (EST) I'll be hosting the Cocoa Daisy reveal night for the January kit called Pemberley. This kit is filled with rich colors, and I just love this month's stamps, too.
Here are some sneak peeks at what I've been working on using the kit and the add-on kit called Mr. Darcy.
If you are free that night, stop on by and chat with me. I'll have prizes and we'll be chatting it up. See you over there!

Merry Christmas!
Because I have a tough time choosing one picture over another, I made two holiday cards this year. This first one is the "fun one."
And this second card is the serious one, or as my cousin called it, "the bieberlicious one."
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from my little clan to yours! I hope the end of the year leads you into a wonderful and shiny new year for 2013!

Naughty or nice
I took some fun pictures of Nate for holiday cards this year, and I love this one of him frowning. I would have loved to have used the picture all by itself on a layout, but I feel like it may have been too sad without the comparison picture.
I used Echo Park goodness on this page. It's the Photo Freedom collection, but I just love the red and teal too much not to use it on a layout.
Merry Christmas (eve) to you all! Hope your holidays are magical!

December Daily {part 7}
I am caught up on my December Daily! Other than taking a picture today and making that page, I am caught up through yesterday. I have to admit I surprised myself by even getting the pages photographed and posted all before the holidays. Yahoo!!
These pictures are from our holiday card photo shoot I had last Saturday.
Nate went to his first sleepover birthday party last Saturday as well. I took a picture of the card he made to give to his friend.
Lots of great Elf on the Shelf memories over the past week as well.
Santa came to visit Nate's after-school care on Friday and brought him a mini dirt bike.
And last night we made our first gingerbread house. The set-up part was more difficult than I had thought it would be, but overall it turned out great.
There you have it! I am so glad I stuck with it. Nate loves the mini and is excited that after it's all finished I am going to let him keep it in his room.
Hope you all are having a great weekend! Have a Merry Christmas if you don't stop back before then.

Pemberley {cocoa daisy}
Amazing! The Pemberley kit for January from Cocoa Daisy is the perfect romantic mix of yellows, navy and pink to get you thinking past the holidays and into the new year.
I also scooped up the Mr. Darcy add-on kit. How pretty are those flowers? And there are some excellent alphas, too.
The stamps this month are pretty awesome, too. LOVE that feather!! Seriously, how cool is that? A chevron feather!
Hopefully you are expecting one of these in your mailbox in January. Join me on 12/28 for the reveal night on the Cocoa Daisy forum. I am hosting this month, so I really need the support over on the site if you can spare the hour. It's at 9 p.m. (EST) on 12/28. Get a cup of coffee, your fuzzy slippers and a cookie! Join me that night for some gal time!
