More Outdoor Adventure {imaginisce}

Hi again! I'm back today with a few more samples of work with the Outdoor Adventure collection from Imaginisce. I made these projects for the winter CHA reveal and catalog.

Having a boy to scrapbook for, this collection is a dream come true. Nate is always outside getting into something, so I know I'll be dipping back into this collection a lot.

I thought this door knob hanger was a cute idea. Maybe for the camper door when you aren't at the camp site to let fellow campers know you'll be right back.

I also whipped up a cute card — I wanted to color the campfire stamp with my Copics.
Thanks for taking a peek at what I had made for the Outdoor Adventure CHA release this past winter. There was plenty of Outdoor love on the Imaginisce blog this week, so stop over there to see even more inspiration with this collection.

Happy Friday!

Outdoor Adventure {imaginisce}

Imaginisce is sharing the new release of Outdoor Adventure this week, and I love it! As mom to a boy and wife to a guy who wears cammo (lol), I saw a lot of potential in this collection. The sticker stackers are fun and the papers are outdoorsy but also great for manly pages all year round.

This picture is from a training day my hubs had earlier in May. He is very lucky to have the opportunity for additional training through his job and gets to engage in some really interesting things. Nate and I rarely get to see what hubs does while he's at work, so pictures like this are great to document. It's like a glimpse into what he does when he's not at home.

Nate's 7th birthday was yesterday, so I made this card for him. He loves ATVs, like most little boys do, so he thought this card was too cool. The die cuts in the Outdoor Adventure collection are great, and I can see that I'll get a lot of use out of them.

I hope you like what we've been sharing on the Imaginisce blog this week. With summer right around the corner, I'm sure there will be a lot of opportunities to use this collection.

I worked with Outdoor Adventure for the winter CHA, so I'm going to swing back here tomorrow and share images of that work with you all. I really liked what I had made for the CHA display and catalog.

Thanks for stopping by here today!

Wednesday

Happy 7th Birthday!

I can't let today go by without wishing my little man a very happy 7th birthday.

He's such a good sport and let me snap a few pictures of him this past weekend. I know it'll be way too soon before he's tired of having my camera in his face. I have to grab it while I can!

Tuesday

PaperHaus Magazine news for June!

The Summer Issue of PaperHaus Magazine is nearly ready and we are quite excited about it. We'll be hopping and RAK-ing it up for you to celebrate. Make sure to stop by and see what all the fuss will be about.

In case you missed it (to hold you over until the Summer Issue), here is the link to the Spring Issue.

Monday

Window gift bag {sei guest blog}

Last Wednesday I was a guest blogger for SEI. I whipped up this cute window gift bag and gave the tip/trick to use packaging from your embellishments for the plastic covering over the window. I love when you don't need to put a bag inside another bag — that never looks very polished.

I used paper from SEI and the chocolate covered cherries are from Trader Joe's. YUM!

Thanks for stopping to see my gift bag. I know I'll be making many more of these. It was so easy to cut on my Cameo and makes a great little gift.

Saturday

Cool Summer {samantha walker}

Today on the Samantha Walker blog I'm sharing a short tutorial on using 6x6 paper pads to add dimension and layers without adding bulk to your pages. Stop on by and see my tips & tricks for getting this effect on your next layout.

Don't you just love this paper/collection? It's the Cool Summer line by Samantha Walker for Carta Bella. It was so fun to work with!

Thanks for stopping here today — and thanks for popping over to Samantha Walker's blog to see my tutorial!

Friday

Be real {scrapbook circle}

One Friday a month, Scrapbook Circle calls attention to Project Life or layouts that use camera phone pictures. We want to see the real moments we live everyday and document those.

Using the My Favorite May kit from Scrapbook Circle, I made this page with pictures of some of my fave outfits. Bestie Sara Zenger and I have been taking pictures of what we're wearing while we are at work and messaging them to each other. I have to admit it is fun and a highlight of my day. It's been fun to see we have a very similar style and would love to raid each other's closets.

The My Favorite kit has some really fun little envelopes, tulle ribbon and bows that added a really pretty feminine touch to my page.

I also printed my pictures out on white card stock to give it a softer look compared to the rich shine you get with photo paper. The end result coordinates so well with the theme.

I had a lot of fun taking the pictures as well as making the page. We haven't stopped taking pictures, so there might be another layout to come. Thanks for stopping to see my page!

Thursday

Go for it all! {scrapbook circle}

I have another baseball layout to share with you. I'm going to apologize in advance for the heavy concentration of baseball pages that have been (and will continue to be) saturating my blog for the beginning of the summer months. I hope you like the color blue! (LOL)

As I said on Monday, the Scrapbook Circle kit for May is chock full of great blues and yellows that make for really great boy pages. The baseball-themed stickers are from Jillibean Soup and I grabbed those from my stash. I've been hanging onto them for baseball pages.

My son plays short stop, so I am very lucky in that he has the ball quite often during a game. I've managed to capture a few great action shots, and I love his face — so much concentration! You can tell that even at six years old he is taking this so seriously.

Thanks for stopping to see my layout today!

Badges for baseball {imaginisce}

This week at Imaginisce we are using the i-top to show off a variety of projects you can make with one tool. It's badges and buttons day, and I made these badges for my son's fans. LOL — OK, just his family that cheers him on at each game, but we feel like his raving fans.

All I needed to make these was the i-top, the extra large badges from Imaginisce, the extra large punch tool and pictures of my son edited to 1.5" circles. I did that in Photoshop. I should add too that I printed these out on regular letter paper because the photo paper was too thick and didn't fit onto the badge very well (it wasn't smooth coverage over the top of the badge and it creased a bit at the edges).

Once I punched them out, I put the top of the badge into the i-top and squeezed, like you can see below. I squeezed again for the bottom and it was finished! Such a fast and fun project.

Since I was handing these out as gifts at a game, I mounted them easily to some paper cards.

Make sure to stop by the Imaginisce blog this week for even more ideas on what to make with your i-top tool!
