i-bond project week {imaginisce}

I love my i-bond. As a cordless glue gun, it is amazing. Imaginisce even offers packs for colored and glitter glue for the i-bond. That makes it all the more fun!

A tip when using it — splurge on good batteries. Maybe get the lithium ones, but I like to use the re-chargable kind. Anytime you leave something battery operated on your craft table for a long time, the batteries are going to fade, so you'll want to make sure you have good, fresh batteries in it every time you use it. If you do that — you'll also love your i-bond.

Today, and all week long,  we are sharing i-bond projects on the Imaginisce blog. You'll want to stop by and see what we've been up to. I made this fabric and paper flower and then stuck it to a plain white pail. And I did it all with my i-bond.

Stop by the blog all week to be inspired! And thanks for stopping here today!

The Scrapbook Circle main kit, called Happy Place, for April is bright and cheerful — perfect for the approaching warm weather and brighter summertime moments ahead.

Exclusive Scrapbook Circle tags come in the kit, too. I love the gradient dots and fun phrases.

This week {pink paislee}

Pink Paislee is connecting with their DT all this month with a Craft-n-Connect Event. Today is my day on the blog, and we are chatting it up a little bit about some things you may not know about me.

We also took the chance to work with some of our favorite products from Pink Paislee. I love the Portfolio collection and jumped at the chance to make another layout using it. This time I mixed in some of the fabulous new Luxe collection with the circle placemat in bronze and the gold dot stars. I love the pop of metallic it adds to my page.

I hope you'll swing on by the Pink Paislee blog and see my answers to the Craft-n-Connect questions. Check in all month to learn more about each member of the team. I know I'm going to enjoy getting to know everyone a little better.

I bet you can't guess what my answer is to "I will never ever..." Check out the blog to see what I said for that answer (and more!).

And thanks for stopping to see my layout. I really appreciate everyone who stops by here.

We're rollin' {paper issues}

I love my #cassiemail! If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen my Paper Issues delivery photos — my #cassiemail. Sometimes I rip right into what I get from the Paper Issues shop, sometimes I have to wait and admire the paper a little longer.

The Down by the Shore collection from Fancy Pants plopped its way onto my desk via #cassiemail and I did wait a week or so to play with all of the wonderful nautical themed goodness. But once I did, it was so worth the wait. I love these colors and patterns!

The photos are from a few weeks ago. Nate had just gotten a hair cut, so we were sending pics to Daddy at work, and we got a little bit silly (as we tend to do). I just love our weekends together. As a working mom, my Saturdays and Sundays with Nate mean the world to me. I look forward to them all week long and plot how we'll spend every moment having the most fun possible.

I know these days will be gone soon — he's growing so fast. Nothing beats some crusin' in the car time on the weekends with my boy!

If you are looking to get some of this collection (or any other scrapbooking supply!), make sure to check out the Paper Issues shop. Use my coupon code for 20% off your total order. Enter DIANA20 at checkout!

Thanks for stopping to see my layout today!

April challenge {imaginisce}

The first of the month means it's time to share the next monthly challenge at Imaginisce. We have a sketch for you (see the end of this post) as well as a few little extras to get onto your project.

Make your challenge entry using the sketch and also:
• Pastel colors
• Twine
• A spring theme

I mixed older and newer collections together to find some pastel colors. That green background is in the Endless Summer collection. Isn't it just the best green color — and I love the texture that's added to it with the scratches of white around the edges.

Here is the sketch for you to see how I used it. Gotta love that swoopy banner, right?! I used a circle scallop punch to make mine and strung it with twine from The Twinery.

I hope you have time this month to join in! See the Imaginisce blog for more details and to see what the rest of the DT made to inspire you.

Thanks for stopping here today!

Fun with pie charts {lily bee}

Hello! No particular rhyme or reason for why I made this layout other than I am getting over my fear of pie charts. At the crop I went to in Syracuse with Audrey, Heather and Sara, I mentioned that I didn't get the whole pie chart trend. Sharp lines all contained in a circle just seemed so wrong to me.

Well…I was wrong. :) This wasn't so bad and I might do it again if the mood strikes me. Thanks, ladies, for the nudge (and double dog dare) to make a page using a pie chart.

I used Lily Bee Pinwheel collection to make this page. There are some great summer elements in this collection and the patterns are so colorful and fun.

Thanks for stopping by to support my pie chart debut. (lol)

Spring has sprung {lily bee}

Hi! Today I am working with a sketch challenge for Easter/Spring week at Lily Bee. Make sure to stop by the Lily Bee blog all week long for fun and inspiration.

I used the Pinwheel and Sweet Shoppe collections on this layout. I love the green, yellow and blue colors to usher in springtime.

I also used my Cameo to cut the larger title. As you can see in the sketch below, I moved the title to the right side so that it would fit with my photo.

Stop by the Lily Bee blog to see what the other ladies made with the sketch. And thanks for visiting my blog today!
