Winter issue projects {paperhaus magazine}

As I start to get my spring issue 2014 projects put together for PaperHaus Magazine, I want to make sure I share my work from the winter issue 2013 with you.

If you missed this issue, here is a link to view all of the amazing projects that are featured.

I had a two fun projects in this issue. I'm the card sketch artist for PaperHaus, so I made a card to go with that sketch, and I also made a layout. Both used the Snow Village collection from Pink Paislee.

And here is the card. Such a simple little tree, but I love how the tiny bow adds dimension. The bling on the tree is from Close to My Heart. I just love their teeny tiny bling packet.

Thanks for stopping to see my projects from the current issue of PaperHaus Magazine. I'm already gearing up for the spring one and it is going to be great!

December Days {part 3}

It's finished! My December Days album for 2013 is finished and set aside to be enjoyed. If you missed Part 1 and Part 2 you can click on the links to see the beginning of my album.

This part of the book covered December 15th - 25th. I continued to use Pink Paislee Snow Village and Elle's Studio for the majority of the album.

Scroll on down to see the final pages…

I love how this turned out and am already looking forward to next year's album. I have some ideas for what I want to keep and what I'd like to change up a bit.

Did you make a December album this year? Link your album up in the comments section of this post, and I'd love to visit your site and see what you made.

Thanks for stopping by to see how my album ended up!

Handmade Holidays {pink paislee}

Pink Paislee has been celebrating 12 days of amazing holiday inspiration, and today is my day on the Pink Paislee blog. I created a gift box and paper-crafted ornament using the Pink Paislee Snow Village collection.

You can download the FREE project sheet that goes with my gift box and ornament on the Pink Paislee blog. The project sheets have detailed instructions on how to create and assemble these projects.

Below are some close-up photos of the gift box. I used 12x12 pattern paper from Snow Village to wrap the box — I may never buy wrapping paper again! We all have plenty of 12x12 paper, don't we?!

I used a combination of the Paper Goods die cuts and vellum pieces as well as the chipboard stickers to get the textured and layered look on the front of this gift. Some sequins add a bit of sparkle.

I truly enjoyed making these projects and know that you will too! Make sure to stop by the blog and get the project sheet download.

Supplies (GIFT BOX): Pink Paislee Snow Village: Pattern paper (Peppermint Patty), Element Stickers, Paper Goods, Layered Chipboard Stickers

Supplies (ORNAMENT): Pink Paislee Snow Village: Pattern paper (Peppermint Patty, Buttered Rum), Silhouette Online Store (3d star ornament by Loni Harris)

Hey Kid for daily pages {pink paislee}

The Pink Paislee's Hey Kid collection is way too fun! I really loved putting together these pocket page layouts to share some of our fun fall activities. The orange, blue and black colors along with trendy patterns and elements, make Hey Kid the perfect choice.

You can never go wrong with a mustache on a 4x3 card! I made this one using some of the ephemera Paper Goods, the Hey Kid 6x6 paper pad and the Kre8•kit for Hey Kid. There are a lot of great circle elements to this collection, too.

I love all of the orange I was able to use on this second page. The arrows are great, and I love that "SMILE" circle on the striped 3x4 card.

Thanks for stopping to see my pocket pages today. If you have some of the new Hey Kid collection yet, give it a try in your daily layouts.

Check out the Pink Paislee blog for more great Hey Kid work this week!

Supplies: Pink Paislee (Hey Kid: Kre8•tiv kit, 6x6 Paper pad, 12x12 Paper pad, Element Stickers, Paper Goods)

Project Life with Pink Paislee

Hello! Today on the Pink Paislee blog I am sharing some Project Life pages using the Pink Paislee Hey Kid and Sentiment Series collections. Not only do these two collections work so well together, they also work great for Project Life.

For the first page, I was using a hodge podge of pictures from the month of October. The Hey Kid collection helped pull them together and give me a chance to journal a bit about each picture.

The necktie was perfect for my son's school picture outfit. (I couldn't resist!)

The arrows worked well, too, in showing which picture I was referring to with the journaling. Perfect!

For the second page, I am documenting a fall pumpkin party. The orange and black in Hey Kid worked out perfectly.

I love the fun lettering in the Sentiment series. You can see the word family is eye-catching and fun on this 3x4 card. The smaller little strips in the Label Stickers work great for adding dates.

Here is a picture of both pages together. What a great collection for PL pages! I couldn't stop with just these two pages, so I'll be back next week with two more pages using Hey Kid for Project Life.

Thanks for stopping by here today! Scoot on over to the Pink Paislee blog to see more Hey Kid, Sentiment Series and Project Life ideas.
