Winter issue projects {paperhaus magazine}

As I start to get my spring issue 2014 projects put together for PaperHaus Magazine, I want to make sure I share my work from the winter issue 2013 with you.

If you missed this issue, here is a link to view all of the amazing projects that are featured.

I had a two fun projects in this issue. I'm the card sketch artist for PaperHaus, so I made a card to go with that sketch, and I also made a layout. Both used the Snow Village collection from Pink Paislee.

And here is the card. Such a simple little tree, but I love how the tiny bow adds dimension. The bling on the tree is from Close to My Heart. I just love their teeny tiny bling packet.

Thanks for stopping to see my projects from the current issue of PaperHaus Magazine. I'm already gearing up for the spring one and it is going to be great!

Hopping for the PaperHaus Mag Fall issue

It's Day 12 of our hop for the Fall Issue of PaperHaus Magazine. I am over-the-moon excited to be a contributor to this magazine. For this issue, you can see my card sketch on page 103, my card on page 105, and my home decor idea for your Thanksgiving or Fall celebration beginning on page 54-57. (Psstt… you can also see my layout using the new Pink Paislee Color Wash collection in the Pink Paislee ad on page 14!)

To celebrate the new issue, we've been hopping all month long. For today's list of participants, see the hop list below and keep on going or start at the beginning to see it all.

For my fall hop project, I made this card using some of my all-time-favorite fall themes: acorns, textures like burlap, canvas, kraft and wood, and a touch of bling.

Thanks for stopping here as you hop along! Don't forget to finish hopping and leave comments as you go. Join our event page on Facebook, too!

The Summer Issue of PaperHaus Magazine was released on June 1st and we are celebrating! The contributing designers, as well as some special guests, are hopping along this week to share the issue and give away some great prizes and RAKs. I have a RAK at the bottom of this post, so make sure to leave a comment here for a chance to win.

PaperHaus Magazine {winter}

I was just planning my Spring Issue creative for PaperHaus Magazine when I realized I had yet to share with you some of what I created for the Winter Issue

For this current issue, I supplied the sketch as well as a layout as a sample. I used the Pink Paislee Portfolio collection and the snowflakes are cut from the Cameo.

Although Portfolio wasn't specifically a winter collection, I do love the tones of the blue and gray for this snowy layout.

You can use this sketch if you'd like. PIN it and credit PaperHaus Magazine Winter Issue as your source. You can also read the issue HERE before it is replaced on Feb. 1st with the new Spring content. Make sure to stop back here and on the PaperHaus Magazine blog for that reveal, too.

Now accepting applications!

There are a few cool places to submit your work to! First is the Spring 2013 submissions for PaperHaus Magazine. See the site for more details about when and how and what, etc.

Did you get a chance to review the Winter Issue yet? Here is the link to that again in case you missed it (or just may want to go back through it while you sip your coffee today).

DESIGN TEAM CALL!

Second, and definitely not least, is the Design Team call for ScrapFIT. Many of you already know I am the Creative Trainer over there. I make the sketches and color challenges for the team and the players to get them warmed up to create.

We are super fun, have different kinds of challenges each month, and we are looking for a few good ladies to join us.

Check out the ScrapFIT site for more info. One of the best perks: A generous discount and first crack at the CUSTOM KITS each month, called FITkits, supplied by Paper Issues twice a month. I do hope you'll consider applying!

Thanks for stopping in today! I hope you'll have a chance to apply for both of these excellent opportunities to be a part of amazing teams.

Trick or treat {paperhaus magazine}

Stopping by again today to share with you the other layout I had in the PaperHaus Magazine September/October issue of the e-mag. This page uses the Monster Mash papers and die cuts from Imaginisce.

Don't you just love the big bats cut? I will say it again — I am in love with the Cameo.

Thanks for stopping by today to see my layout. The PaperHaus Magazine December/January issue will be here before we know it! Check out the site for inspiration from their designers and to stalk the next release.

Pick me! {paperhaus magazine}

In September, PaperHaus Magazine launched with its first issue. This was one of two layouts that I had in the e-mag, and I'm just now getting around to sharing them with you. Being that fall is upon us, I am excited to share this with you.

The page is made using a past Cocoa Daisy kit — including that wonderful leaf stamp and the pennant arrows on the side.

How great is that expression on Nate's face?! It's from last fall at Aunt Joyce's pumpkin party. I can't wait until this year's party — it's always so fun.

If you haven't had a chance to see the PaperHaus Magazine from September, you can view it HERE. Look for the new one in December. It'll be chock full of holiday goodness.
