Imaginisce and Core'dinations Blog Hop

Imaginisce and Core'dinations have partnered up this week to hop along and share in some inspiration this week. Today is the second day of our week-long hopping, so make sure to head to the Imaginisce or Core'dinations blogs to start over and see it all!

You should have come to my blog from Jodi Wilton, if you didn't you can start over at the Aimee Kidd 's blog to start at the beginning.

This is the project I made using Core'dinations and Imaginisce  I used the Childhood Memories collection from Imaginisce and the Brights collection from Core'. While many people know Core' for their amazing thick papers that emboss well and cut perfectly, I wanted to highlight that they also hold paint and mist really well. Especially this white mist. Not all papers can hold this mist well, but I knew Core' would not disappoint.

I also cut the "tournament" title with Core' paper. Sometimes you can get tearing when cutting script fonts, but this worked out so well and cut perfectly.

Here is the hop order for today's posts:

Imaginisce Team:
Diana Fisher  (You are here!)

Core' Team:

Someone is going to win these fabulous prizes from Core'dinations and Imaginisce!

Make sure to leave comments along the way and we hope you like what you see this week! Thanks for stopping by here and all of the other blogs.

Hop on over to Suzanna Lee's blog next!

1 fun day with friends {elle's studio}

Hello! I'm sharing a layout today that I made using the latest Thursday Sketch from Elle's Studio and their Cameron collection. I ordered this almost immediately when it was released, but got distracted and hadn't found a chance to use the great frames, labels and circles that I bought.

When I saw this week's sketch, I was inspired to use the frames and got right to work on this layout.

We went to an amusement park with our good friends a few weeks ago and got some great pictures from our day. It was nice to be able to put them all together like this.

I will be so sad when I run out of these Thickers from American Crafts! I love the white scribbles on the black letters — they just add a pop of fun to any page I use them on.

Thanks for stopping here today. I hope you all had a great weekend and are back into the swing of things now that it's Monday. Have a great week!

I'm sharing a tutorial today on the Samantha Walker blog for making this piece of framed kitchen decor. Stop on by to see how I made it!

Don't you just love this saying — gives me a giggle when I see it.

Thanks for stopping to see my project today. I had fun making it and hope you can stop by the Samantha Walker blog if you want to learn more about the process.

Summertime fun {scrapbook circle}

Today on the Scrapbook Circle blog, Sara and I are sharing our layouts showing off some summertime fun. There are some great colors perfect for summer photos in the Let's Go on an Adventure August kit for Scrapbook Circle.

Stop on by the blog to get inspired on what you can do with this kit and your surely growing stack of summer photos.

Nothing says summer quite like fishing! Nate's Papa loves to take him out and drop a line in the water. Thank you to Grandma for snapping this pic and sharing it.

I love the cork circles from Studio Calico in this kit — they are so fun and add some texture and dimension to the layout.

I had to include the anchor! It is a layout about fishing, right?! And the wood veneers in this month's kit are so fun to use.

Thanks for stopping to see my layout today. I hope you snagged one of the August kit's from Scrapbook Circle, if not you can see it now here on the site.

Sketch challenge {imaginisce}

Hello! I can't believe it's already August 1st! This summer is just flying by. With the first of the month comes a new sketch I cooked up for you at Imaginisce. You can see the sketch below or head on over to the Imaginisce blog, see what the rest of the DT made, and play along with us!

I used the Good Dog collection for this layout. My Cady girl was sunning herself on 4th of July and I snapped a few pictures of her as the rest of the family played in the pool. I love how these turned out. Her coloring is just gorgeous in person, and these photos are the closest I've been able to get to the real thing.

This is the sketch. You know... I bet you could even make this into a Project Life page to play along. It works for cards, layouts and maybe even PL.

I like to share my studio files when I can and if they make sense, so here is a link to the FREE download for the "Best Dog Ever" 3x4 card I made. It will also fit in a Project Life sleeve. If you have a pampered pooch in your home, scoop it up — it may come in handy some day!

Thanks for stopping to see my layout today. Hope you can find a moment to use the sketch and play along at Imaginisce!

Let's Go on an Adventure {scrapbook circle}

The Let's Go on an Adventure August kit from Scrapbook Circle is amazing! I just love the colors, patterns and whimsy in this kit.

Here's a little card I whipped up with some of what I had laying around on my desk after I made two layouts. (I'll be able to share those with you a bit later on.)

Stop on by Scrapbook Circle's site to grab one for yourself. I just know you'll love it!

CHA - Summer 2013 {imaginisce}

Imaginisce is revealing some amazing new tools, chipboard, milk paint and the fall and winter collections at this week's Summer CHA 2013.

I did some work with the Bushel of Fall collection and wanted to share it here so you can see what's coming up.

The Christmas line is amazing! I love the colors in this collection and the fun owls with scarves. Seriously, how cute is that?! The chevron paper and the ornaments are my favorites.

Keep an eye on the Imaginisce blog in case they share anything else. Check it out now to see what they have already revealed (the milk paint looks really interesting!).

Legos at the library {lily bee}

Today on the Lily Bee blog we are revisiting the sketch for July. Have you used it yet? Give it a go and see the sketch on the Lily Bee blog today. Here is the layout I made to inspire you!

This week we are also sharing splashes of color. I used yellow for my splash on this black and grey layout — I love how it turned out!

Other than the card stock on this layout, all of this fabulous grey, black and yellow came from the Sweet Shoppe and Pinwheel collections from Lily Bee. How fun are those word bubbles?! They are cut from a piece of Pinwheel patterned paper called Flip Flops.

Thanks for stopping to see my layout today. I really had fun making this layout and I hope it has inspired you to revisit the sketch with us and maybe even try a splash of color on your pages.
