Birthday wishes {scrapbook circle}

I've been having fun with the Scrapbook Circle February kit - Story Time. Using the Cameo, I cut this giant cupcake and 3-D ribbon from papers in the Story Time kit. The enamel dot is from My Mind's Eye and was in my stash, and the stamp is from Papertrey Ink.

Are you expecting the Story Time kit to land on your doorstep? Don't forget to share what you make with the kit on the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page — we love to see what you make. Thanks for visiting here today to see my card.

Valentines' mini {imaginisce}

We're talking Valentine's Day over at the Imaginisce blog this week and next. I was more than happy to put together this little mini album to show off the little man using the Love You More collection.

I cut the mini using the Cameo and a digi file that was meant for tabbed folders. I deleted the fold lines from the original file and added in the hole punches for the ribbon.

I used to be intimidated by mini albums before I got the Cameo. I thought all minis had to start with a chipboard album that would be covered by paper and sanded before I could even start to decorate it. Not the case with these minis — and now I'm hooked!

If you haven't checked out the Love You More collection from Imaginisce yet, take a peek at all there is in the collection. I love the addition of washi tape, buttons, and some great alpha and sticker sheets.

Thanks for stopping by to see my mini album. Check out the Imaginisce blog all this week and next for even more Valentine's inspired ideas.

So sweet {scrapbook circle}

The February kit: Story Time, from Scrapbook Circle is bursting with amazing colors and patterns. New Glitz, My Mind's Eye and custom badges make this kit a feast for the eyes. Other than the raspberry color alphas, everything on this page is from the Story Time kit.

I was quite happy to see the Glitz Chevron Roller in the kit. I used it up the left side of the woodgrain paper with white ink.

Thanks for stopping to see my layout. Stop by the Scrapbook Circle site to grab one of these kits for yourself!

Hoppin' for Sara's Birthday!

It's Sara's birthday and she wants to offer up some gifts to all of you! She asked a special group scrappy friends to join her in celebrating her birthday with this blog hop. You're going to find a ton of inspiration along the way!

I happily made a sketch for all of the gals to use for the hop. Now you can use it as well!

There are 2 gifts up for grabs for those doing the hop:
• A $30 Gift Certificate to Paper Issues will go to one lucky winner who links up their layout based on my sketch to the linky on Sara's blog by midnight on February 9th.  (You must also be a follower of her blog to eligible.)

• A Creative Scrappers/Creating with Sketches e-book. She'll be giving away 2 copies of this ebook to two birthday hoppers that leave a comment on each post throughout the hop.

HERE IS THE HOP!

Diana Fisher (you are here)

Below is the layout I made using the birthday hop sketch. I actually made this page at the Relay For Life Crop I went to last month where I got to meet the hopper after me (Audrey) for the first time. It was so fun!

You have until midnight on February 9th to complete the hop (don’t forget to leave your comments) and enter your layout based on our birthday sketch for a chance at winning a birthday blog hop gift!

Comment here on my blog for a chance to win this Maya Road hop prize from me! Remember to be a follower of my blog so you'll see the announcement that you won this prize.

Thanks for hopping along with us!

Relay Crop {cocoa daisy}

I was so excited a few weeks ago to be croppin' with my friends Renee, Audrey, Lisa and Julie Ann — all to benefit Relay For Life. I also met a few new friends! This was the first time I met Audrey in person, and now that she's moved closer to me, it has been so great to make plans to get together and scrap.

I  made this page using the Double Feature kit from Cocoa Daisy. I'm also on the CD blog today talking about stamping and what I did on this layout.  Feel free to jump over there and see my stamping technique for this page.

Here's an up-close of more flair from Ormolu that is custom to the Cocoa Daisy Double Feature kit. The pie chart is too cute!

Thanks for stopping by to see my layout today — I really appreciate it!

A guest spot {what's your passion?}

I'm happy to be guest designing for the Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge blog for the month of February. I have known Anne online for many years thanks to her playing along before with Sketchy Thursdays, and I was happy to say yes when she asked me to join the team for this month.

For the Feb. 1 challenge, they want to see you scrap about your passion. What makes you tick? Gets you reved up? Makes your engine hum? For me — it's my boys. I just love these two. Even my scrapbooking is for them. I love that I can show them how I see our life. I feel like I'm making little windows into my perspective with each layout.

If you are looking for a prompt to play along with, stop by the site and link up a layout about your passion. Can't wait to see what you make!

I also used the January kit from Scrapbook Circle to make this. The February one is equally as amazing and chock full of goodies for you. Stop by and see what's cookin' in the new kit. Lots of new CHA goodies in it already!

Love dessert {imaginisce sketch}

We are playing along with a new sketch at Imaginisce today. In addition to the sketch, we were challenged with not using red, making the layout about love and also using three different pieces of pattern paper.

So, with that in mind, my layout ended up being about our love for dessert. Nate is just like me — dessert is the only reason to eat dinner. This piece of cake was our celebration on New Year's Eve.

This is the sketch I made for Imaginisce this month. Have a blast with it and play along! I can't wait to see what you'll make.
