Hulk! {club ck sketch}

Hello! Ashley over at Club CK has another great month sketch challenge for you. Stop on by and check it out HERE. I look forward to playing along over there every month.

On this page, I used lots of different pieces from my Halloween stash, including the brand new Echo Park Paper Chillingsworth Manor 6x6 paper pad I just scooped up.

Nate had more than one costume for this Halloween season. It was so fun, though, getting him ready in different costumes. It was like living many years of Halloween all at once.

Thanks for stopping to see my page today. Don't forget to hop over to Club CK and see Ashley's sketch.

Super star {scrapbook circle & club ck}

Hello! I'm stopping in today to share a page I made using the Scrapbook Circle News Flash kit. I also used the Club CK October Sketch It Out challenge from Ashley. Stop by the Club CK site and check out what she's up to over there — always great inspiration!

There is a great mix of colors and patterns from Crate and Pink Paislee and American Crafts in this kit. I love the yellows and blues.

Thanks for stopping today to see my layout. I hope that toothless grin brings you a happy mood like it does me. Nate is always good for a pick-me-up. :)

Blackberry margarita {club ck sketch}

Hi! Today I'm sharing the page I made using Ashley's Club CK sketch over on the Club CK site. You can see her sketch HERE. And, of course, play along if you have the time.

I took this picture last month when hubs and I had an impromptu day date. This blackberry margarita is at Friday's if you are interested in having one — it was tasty! I used mostly scraps of my favorite papers and patterns for this. I love how fun it looks.

Thanks for stopping by to see my page! Hope your week is starting off well.

Cocoa Daisy, Club CK & Empire State Yankees

Hi! I had a chance to just play around with whatever I'd like the other night and this was the result. I had the Cocoa Daisy July kit on my desk and the stamps that I had yet to really dive into.

I used the pennant arrows on the right side of the layout with some distressing ink. The little hand is in the top left corner in black. "Wednesday" and the arrow is in lower left corner. I love how versatile these stamps are! I can see that I'll use these on layouts a lot.

This picture was taken in the end of June when we went to an Empire State Yankees game and one of the past New York Yankees catchers, Francisco Cervelli, happened to be catching. In fact, Cervelli even tossed a ball into the stands near where we were sitting next to their dug out. The boy that caught it ended up giving the ball to Nate (we don't know why he gave him the ball, just a very generous gesture on that kid's part). Nate is eternally grateful — he calls it his "Cervelli Ball."

I also used the latest sketch from Ashley over at Club CK. You still have some time to play along, so head on over to Club CK and see the sketch challenge for July. It's a great one!

Thanks for stopping by to see my page today. Hope you all have a great weekend planned.

Star Wars

Hello! Today I am sharing with you the layout I made using Ashley's May sketch at Club CK. I wasn't able to work in the stitching prompt and I used one less picture to account for the narrower 8.5x11 format I used, but I swear it was for the challenge (lol).

In Rochester, there is a great kids museum called The Strong National Museum of Play. A few weeks ago they had a Star Wars weekend and we went to meet the characters. Of course, I went for the pictures — the boys for the experience.

Thanks for stopping by to see my layout. Hope you all are having a great day!

Club CK {sketch}

Hi there! I wanted to share with you the page I made for the Club CK April Sketch It Out challenge. I used the twist to include navy and yellow, as well as using Ashley's sketch

This layout is about Nate's first order from the Scholastic Book Club that he got from Kindergarten. I remember how fun that was — to get books passed out to you in class that you got to take home. I think I may have been more excited to see the books in his backpack than he might have been.

For my page, I used a lot of papers from my stash. This sketch was perfect for that. I hope you get a chance this month to play along with Club CK.

Artful Delight {and Club CK}

Hello! I'm here to share with you my latest Artful Delight GDT project. The March kit is so fun! It just screams Easter to me with all of the pastels.

These pictures are from last Easter after coloring the eggs. I can't believe it's almost time to color them for this year! Wow — the time is just flying!

I was inspired by Ashley's Club CK sketch for my layout. I totally spaced on the twist to use hexagon, woodgrain or chevron on my page. The pink button has a woodgrain print on it, but that's by coincidence, so I'm calling myself out for being forgetful on that part.

If you play along, just remember that twist part. Join over at Club CK and play along with Ashley!

Thanks for stopping to see my layout. I've been cranking out the projects lately. Feels good to have so many bright, fun projects to work on.

Have a great weekend!
