relax a bit...

I'm starting to feel like a spokesperson for Papertrey Ink!!! And, that is definitely not a bad thing. Everything they have is just so darn cute!! I can think of 100 projects to make for each adorable thing they come up with.

This amazing little stamp is from the On My Couch set. Do you see the pillow?! Can you believe it?! The set came with pillow stamps!!! Love it!

And I am going to need about 10 sheets of this Material Girl paper from Cosmo Cricket. I've used it for clouds, for trim and now for this couch. It is extremely versatile and just the best color and pattern for so many things. (The other side of the page is pretty darn cute, too!)

While we're talking about Cosmo Cricket, here's a card I made last week with some Earth Love and Early Bird. This was a baby card I made for a friend.

The stamp behind the onsie die cut (which is from the New Arrival Cricut cart), is also from Papertrey Ink. It's part of the Vintage Labels set.

OK, well that bring my cards posts to an end, so far. I have Sketchy Thursday goodness for you tomorrow, and then I have an album project I've been working on for this weekend.

Who knows, though, I just may spend the whole week making cards and have more to share.

Thanks for stopping by here!!! I truly appreciate hearing from you all!!! :)

a little dude, some boyfriend and a sketch to work with

Hi all! Happy Friday. This page is the week #2 sketch challenge for August over at ScrapThat! and the prompt: "Dudes!" over at Pink Ninjas. (Both of which are really fun to play along with, so get your fanny over there!)

My son LOVES ice cream. In fact, he loves anything sweet and considers sugar a food group, I'm sure. This picture was taken one of the times he managed to finish his meal at Friendly's and enjoy the free sundae at the end. I have been waiting for the perfect time to scrap this!

I used my new Boyfriend papers from Cosmo Cricket for this layout. As soon as the new papers hit my scraproom I had to use them. Here is a card I made using some of the other papers from that line.

Supplies (page): My Mind's Eye (pp), Cosmo Cricket (pp), Jenni Bowlin (letter stickers), K&Co. (chipboard letters)

Supplies (card): All Cosmo Cricket - Boyfriend.

Thanks for looking! And I know I promised a big announcement today. It's in the next post. It deserved a post all by itself!

no one quite like papa

**Update: For now, this page is Out For Publication!**

Nate and Papa are quite the pair! I hit the point in Nate's book where we went to the Thousand Island's for a week last summer. There are so many pictures of Nate and Papa together that week, I just had to make a page for just the two of them.

Supplies: Sassafras Lass chipboard (birds), Cosmo Cricket chipboard (buttons and clouds) MM letter stickers, American Crafts Thickers, MME transparency (tree), Fancy Pants felt (sun), Cosmo Cricket (patterned paper)

DON'T FORGET TO POST YOUR SKETCHY THURSDAY LAYOUT FOR THE WEEK HERE.

cosmo cricket rocks my world!

I love Cosmo Cricket! Have I said that before? I won a random drawing on their blog last week and got my goodies in the mail yesterday (Thanks!!). The box was packed full of Lil Man, Girl Friday, Jack's World and more. I was in heaven! Of course, I had to start creating right away.

One of my fave things to do is make cards, especially kid and baby card, and I love how Cosmo Cricket papers lend themselves so well to that.

Here are the 3 cards I made with my new goodies. I am inspired, so there are lots more to come. Earlier this week I posted a LO using Snorkel, too. If there is a Cosmo Cricket fan club, I want to join!
