I used the Samantha Walker Pair of Hearts Box and cut it from red card stock. The best part about this box if that you can surprise someone with two kinds of candy — each peeking through a side of the heart. I have M&Ms on one side and red jelly hearts on the other. Yum!

Project Life {part 7}

Hi! Back today with a little bit more of my Project Life binder. I love that Simple Stories has full sleeves without the dividers in their kits. Every once in a while, you want the picture to shine and be the focus of the page.

For the first one, my little man was all dressed up and ran upstairs to get his Daddy's watch. He put it on and came downstairs like he was going to work. He called himself Officer Petey (not sure why, but that's very funny) and made a big show of checking his watch to make sure he wouldn't be late. I was cracking up!

This second one is of our Cady girl. She was chillin' with me in the craft room one morning while I was taking pictures for the blog, and I managed to snap this one of her when she wasn't looking. If I try to purposefully take her picture, she runs off or gets right into the lens. This time I fooled her because she knew I was taking pictures of something else, so she was caught off guard. Gotcha!!

I used the Walnut Grove 6x6 paper pad from Pebbles on these pages and some NKat Designs goodies, too. Thanks for stopping to see what I've been working on!

Project Life {part 6}

My friend Renee and I are both making Project Life albums with the Simple Stories binder. Since we work together, we try to get together during our lunch breaks and work on our pages. We were lucky enough to get two days in a row together a few weeks ago and I got these pages done.

Nate had his first sleepover at a friend's house this past December. It was a birthday sleepover, so I snapped a quick pic of the card he made to take to his friend. Yes, he makes all of his cards (apple doesn't fall far from the tree…).

Does your school have Raz Kids? I love this program! It's for reading and rewards the kids with points that they can turn in for objects they can add to their rocket ship. It is to cute, and Nate just loves it!

This wood arrow is one of the new ones from Freckled Fawn. Love them!

Yep, I was still back in December with my PL. I did a December Daily, so I felt less pressure to really go all out on this part of the binder, but I wanted to cover the little party they had at his after school program for the holidays.

To end this part, I put in New Year's Eve night and also a note about Nate's year-round baseball practices. In fact, he just had practice yesterday, another one this Wed., and again this coming up Sunday. You'd never know it was February with the baseball schedule they have!
