Happy Halloween {cards}

I don't need much prompting to make Halloween cards. For some reason, I have always loved to make them. So when I saw the Halloween challenge at Cameo Spotlight, I knew I'd be playing along.

The digital cuts I used were all from the Silhouette store. I used Cat and Coffin by Silhouette and Bat by Snapdragon Snippets.

These cute little cards are going in Nate's lunch bag next week. He's going to love it! I try to leave little notes for him when I can — especially on holidays.

I used mostly last year's Halloween collections. I had been hoarding a lot of it because it was so great.

Thanks for stopping by to see my Halloween cards. Such a fun holiday to craft for!

Thanksgiving card {cameo spotlight}

Happy to be playing along again with The Cameo Spotlight. I have come to look forward to these challenges and really like playing along. I've made some of my favorite projects from these prompts!

And this card is no exception! I used a print and cut file from Lori Whitlock, but I did not print it — just the cut part. Don't you just love that woodgrain paper for the apple barrel?!

Here is the prompt, so if you are inspired, head on over and play along with the ladies over there. If you have a Cameo, it is a great way to think outside of the box and try something new with each challenge.

Christmas tree cards & tags

Hello! Today I am playing along with the Cameo Spotlight challenge to use triangles. I used the Christmas Tree Layered file by Lori Whitlock.

I made 2 cards and 2 tags using four double-sided 6x6 Echo Park Paper sheets set up only once. Here is a screen shot of the cut set up:

I saved it as a studio file and can now load it whenever I want to make a few quick sets of holiday trees for tags and cards. The set up only works if you have double-sided papers for the layering.

I love this gold washi tape! It adds just the perfect touch along with the pearl accents. Feeling pretty festive today!

If you have this cut for your Cameo and want the dimensions on the file set up, just let me know in the comments, include your email address in the fill-in spot and I'll email you back.

Thanks for stopping to see my holiday tags and cards!

Cup o' joe, anyone?!

I'm playing along with the Cameo Spotlight challenge blog this week. I couldn't pass up the chance to use this coffee cup card I downloaded right away after getting my Cameo but hadn't used yet. All of the fall coffee and latte flavors have me craving coffee even more than usual. If that was possible...

This week's challenge is a color one. Here is the challenge if you want to join in!

Thanks for stopping to see my card today. I had fun making it, and I'm sure that soon enough I'll find a reason to have fun sharing it with a friend — a cup of coffee and the card!

A card, some challenges and a winner

Today I have a card for you. It's for Nate for his first day of first grade on Tuesday. It's a big day — he's in "number grades" now, as he says. Now it's serious. *grin*

I used two challenges to make this card. The Cameo Spotlight wants to see your projects using numbers. I also used the color challenge #152.

I hope you all had a chance to look through the first issue of PaperHaus Magazine yesterday. If not, scroll down to yesterday's post to take a look. Here is my winner for the blog hop we did last week to celebrate the launch of the magazine.

Congrats to … #29 SHartl!

Send an email to dianadesigns [at] rochester [dot] rr [dot] com and let me know you saw you won and I'll hook you up with the $15 shop credit to Paper Issues.

Thanks for stopping by to see my card today! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
