Lil umbrella darling

I can't seem to get enough of this Pure Innocence: My Umbrella stamp from MFT. She looks like a darling little watercolor print in this frame, don't you think?!

She is happily perched among the rest of the spring things on the front hallway table. Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope everyone has a great weekend planned.

Happy umbrella and pretty little birdies

For this card, I'm playing along with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club. I love that they do a weekly sketch challenge. I used the Pure Innocence stamp "My Umbrella" that I actually bought at Simon Says Stamp—my first purchase there.

I have to say that I was happy with the experience and will shop there again. I had ended up there when looking online for the resin frames from Melissa Frances. (pssstt... do you spy a small one around the bow on the ribbon on this card?)

The cards shown here serve as a sneak peek for you. Other than the stamps and ribbon, these cards were made with the Scrapbook Circle April kit. You know you want one!! Isn't it so fun?!

This card was made using the Card Patterns Sketch #108. There are some great sketches there, so play along if you are looking for card inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I hope everyone is having a great week so far.

Friendship cards

I have been churning out the cards! I feel like apologizing to anyone who signed on to follow my blog as a scrapper ... I promise I'll be making more layouts soon. :)

The card above was made with 3 different challenges in mind.
1) Stamping with Markers Challenge in the Moxie Fab World (I used my Copics).
2) Color Combos Galore challenge for the colors as well as the idea to use the banner.
3) Card Patterns challenge sketch.

While I realize my Copics coloring is not outstanding and amazing here, I hope to get credit for the tiniest shading with Copics. These hot air balloons are SMALL!

I also made this card using the My Favorite Things card sketch for the Wednesday Stamp Club.

And if you've been reading my blog for awhile, you know that clouds are my favorite. When I finished this card, I realized it would make a really nice St. Patty's Day card for a friend.

Thanks for checking out my blog today!

Loving pink

I can't seem to put down the pink! Papers and embellishments in all shades of pink seem to be permanently perched on the side of my desk. But if great little projects like this Valentine's heart garland come of it... I can't be too mad.

From that same stack of pink papers, I also made a card. I used the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club challenge sketch #5. I'm so glad they have been doing these sketches. I look forward to them each week.

I used the MFT Die-namics Polka Dot Greetings Die & Stamp Set Duo you can find HERE.

Thanks for looking at my pretty in pink post today. I just love February! I get a chance to put away the boy stuff and just play in girl-land for a little bit.

**Don't forget the $10 store credit to Scrapbook Circle I have to give away in this post here. You have until tonight to comment.**

Cutie girl card

Oh my, I can't even tell you how much I love this little stamp! This girl is from the Pure Innocence collection at My Favorite Things. I've seen her popping up all over, and with my Christmas gift card I scooped her up, along with a die & stamp set, paper and other stamps.

And here are the Copics that I used to color her in. I'm still working on creating depth and shadows with these markers, but all-in-all I'm happy with at the very least the smooth finish they create. No streaks or lines... and right now that's good enough for me!

Thanks for stopping by the blog to see my card! Have a wonderful week!!

Thinking of you...

I'm playing along with Card Patterns: Sketch 97 for the first time. I've recently been hopping all over Blogland looking for new card sketches and card challenge sites. And I'm glad I found this one. It looks like a nice place to play. :)

This pretty card is going to my friend Renee who is sending it off to a friend of hers.

Wanna know a secret about this card?! I bought this little My Favorite Things stamp for the intent of putting balloons in her hand, and know what?! I do not have a balloon on any of the Cricut Carts I have nor do I have a stamp or a punch?

How on Earth has that happened? So, I improvised and used American Crafts felt eggs from a old spring set and put 'em upside down! Víola! Instant balloons!! But you do know that I am now on the hunt for a balloon punch, of course!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and see ya'll for the start of the week tomorrow!!

Winter wishes on a snowy day

Hello! Today I'm sharing a card with you. Don't you just love this cutie patootie little girl?

I made this card for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger: Winter White, and I also used the sketch challenge at My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. This stamp is from their Pure Innocence collection. I am all about these stamps... new addiction! :)

This cake image is the Moxie Fab trigger. When I saw it, I had just gotten the MFT stamps in the mail, and this cake immediately gave me an idea on how I wanted to color the stamped image. Digging through my stash, I stumbled upon the Hambly lace transparency. It seemed to perfectly match the texture in this image.

For those of you interested in the Copics colors... here's my recipe for this image:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I had so much fun making this card, and I hope you can find some time this weekend to be inspired by this week's Moxie Fab trigger.

I also wanted to add a quick *TOOT!!!* I mentioned here earlier that my time with Scrapbook Circle was coming to an end. After working with Lisa and the girls for 13 months, I was not looking forward to the withdrawal that was going to be inevitable.

Instead of ending my term, Lisa has asked me (and Tessa Buys) to stay on as Blog Coordinators! We'll still be a part of the Scrapbook Circle team, and that just makes my day!

Thanks, Lisa! Check out the post here for the rest of the DT announcement.
