Guest spot {Berry71Bleu}
I am happy to have a guest spot with Berry71Bleu for the month of December. The tags are intricate, amazing and gorgeous, and I'm in awe each time I see the work that goes into them. You can view more of the work I did for Berry71Bleu on the blog for my DT reveal today.
One of the challenges this month was to use a tag on a layout. The picture in the layout is of Nate waiting in line to see Santa Claus at the mall. He had the funniest look on his face—like he wasn't sure if he should be excited or not.
And here is an up-close shot of the tag made by Berry71Bleu. Make sure to check out the Etsy shop for more. As I said—I am in awe of the depth and quality of the tags.
Join in the fun!
Right now you can play along with the December challenge on the Berry71Bleu blog. This is the sketch to use as well as incorporating a tag on your layout.
The winner of the December challenge will receive this lovely prize.

Holiday crafting party {at work}
As we did last year, the ladies of NextStepU got together for what we call a Lunch 'n' Learn this past Tuesday. I brought in my Big Shot, dies, papers, adhesives, scissors, punches, stickers ... you get the picture—everything!
Everyone made something for the holidays—either tags or cards. Thanks to Michelle for making brownies. It was so fun! Already looking forward to our next one. Maybe one in the spring for Mother's Day/Easter/Spring. Who can wait again until next Christmas?!
This was also Ugly Sweater / Holiday Sweater day. I have to mention that since Michelle is wearing antlers and we were all looking so very festive. Here's that staff pic...
Thanks for stopping in today. Does anyone else bring their crafting to work and spread the joy? :) Would love to hear your stories!

Sketchy Thursdays {leaves}
Hi there! This should be the last of my leaves and Fall pictures. We had such a long, great Fall season with warm weather and sunshine, that I have too many pictures and moments from the past few months.
This page is made with the new Sketchy Thursdays sketch I made. You can see my sketch and the DT inspiration on the blog now. As well as meet this week's sponsor, I love it all.
If you haven't scooped it up yet, the Scrapbook Circle December kit (Note to Self) is what I used to make this layout. I love that the kit could be used for just about anything—not just holiday pages.
If you have a free moment, it would be great to see you playing along at the Sketchy Thursdays challenge. And thanks for stopping to see my page!

Hair clips {new styles}
A few weeks ago, I sold out of all of my hair accessories on the Etsy shop. In needing to re-stock, I also explored some new ideas—with the holidays in mind.
Here are some "night out" versions of the bobby pins and barrettes. Pearls, lace and silky fabrics make a great accent to that little black dress during the holiday season. Of course, they'll also be great for weddings, too.
The bobby pins are back in stock with the little cabochon flowers. Right now, teal flowers as well as purple and yellow are listed. I also have some orange and green that will be back in stock soon, too.
If you need anything custom made for that oh-so-perfect holiday gift just let me know! I am taking custom orders through Dec. 15th.
Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been up to! And remember coupon code MIRACLES20 for 20% off your total purchase.

Advent Calendar
Hello there! I managed to get my Advent Calendar done with a day or two to spare ... whew! I was cutting it close for sure. And now it is filled with wonderful little treasures and candies for Nate as we count down to Christmas.
I used the Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas line (which I got from Paper Issues) and the actual calendar is from KaiserCraft. This was quite the undertaking. Big thanks to my local scrapbook store, The Village Scrapbooker, for holding the last calendar kit for me.
Do you have an Advent Calendar? Leave a link to your creation in the comments so I can stop by and see it.
And... if you have a holiday creation, link it up to the Holiday Madness challenge at Paper Issues. It doesn't have to be new, and you have until 12/24 to link up.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I am quite happy with how it turned out. Husband keeps talking about what a keepsake it will be for years to come. That makes me smile. :)

Sketchy Thursdays {silly}
I have been having a fantastic time creating with the December kit from Scrapbook Circle. The papers from American Crafts - Chap line are my favorite in this month's kit.
And the sketch from Sketchy Thursdays this week worked out perfectly to use this grid-like paper in the kit.
Don't you just love this picture of Nate?! He was getting so cute becoming "over-cheesed" with me and my camera. Last year's fall pictures turned out so well that I was hoping for the same results. Not so much! The sun was more direct this time, and Nate was a bit more punchy than usual. It made for a silly, fun time, though. Great memories.
I hope you'll be able to join us this week at Sketchy Thursdays! Thanks for stopping in to see my page.
