Hello! Sharing with you today a quick card I made. It's a wedding congrats card. I just love all of these Dear Lizzy embellishments. The letters are from Lilly Bee.

I hope everyone has a great weekend planned. And happy early Mother's Day! Big squeeze to all of the mommies out there.

Sketch challenge {Scrapbook Circle}

It's sketch time! I've posted a new sketch challenge over on the Scrapbook Circle blog. Play along with us and I'll include you in the reveal post on 5/25.

Here's the page I made using the sketch and the May kit for Scrapbook Circle: The Story. I really, really love this kit. Not only are there chipboard clouds and great "boy" colors in this kit, but it also has stickers and a doily mask. Just amazing!

These pictures were taken on Easter day when we went over to the fish hatchery while we waited for dinner to finish up in the oven. It was colder than we thought, but fun nonetheless. Nate had a blast throwing the fish food into the little ponds and watching the fish jump like crazy.

I hope you'll get a chance to use the sketch, and thanks for stopping by to see my page today. Scoot on over to the Scrapbook Circle blog for more info on this sketch.

Precious Remembrance {card}

Hello! Sharing a card with you today that used the "birthday girl" sentiment from the Birthday Stamp Set from Precious Remembrance. I really love how the font flows on this set.

Can't go wrong with ice cream cones, either. :) Hope you all are having a great day. And thanks for stopping by here to see my card.

Workspace Wednesday

Hello! Just dropping in for a quick Workspace Wednesday post. This was my desk on Sunday afternoon when I was able to finally snag some time to do something creative during the weekend.

Hopefully playing along with some Instagram pics for a layout later in the week. Here's where I collaged them all into a 4x6 and then printed them out…

… on this! My brand new HP printer. It is the HP Photosmart 7510. I had some serious anxiety picking a printer. My Kodak ESP5 finally quit on me and I had to get a new one to keep up with my projects.

This printer looks like it'll have all of the wonderful gadgets I'll need. The photos look great, it's wirelessly connected to my Wi-Fi, connects to my Facebook and Picasa albums for quick printing and has a photo paper and 8.5x11 multi-use tray. Lots of features. If you are in the market, take a peek at this one.

Thanks for stopping by to see my workspace today. I'll have something creative for you again tomorrow.

Canvas Corp & Imaginisce

Imaginisce has teamed up with Canvas Corp to bring you some amazing inspiration this week. Here are the projects that I made using product from both of these amazing companies.

First, I made an teenie tiny little bag using the Canvas Corp bog and flower. I used the i-top and some fabric with the medium badge daddies to make the flower center. Since it is a badge, it just pins on, so I could change out the fabric and have as many variety of centers as I would want.

I also altered a shadow box from 7gypsies. The background paper is from Imaginisce's Happy Harvest line. The frame is from Sole Sisters. And how fun are those canvas diamonds from Canvas Corp? I splattered some Maya Road fern green mist on them so they would look a bit more roughed up.

I hope you like the ideas we're sharing all week over at Imaginisce and Canvas Corp. I'm sure you'll get the itch to alter something by the time the week's done.

Thanks for stopping by to see my projects!

Practice makes perfect {PageMaps}

Hi! My weekend was really busy, so I wasn't able to participate in any NSD activities with everyone, but late Sunday I did get a chance to create a little bit. I made this page using the new EP This & That I picked up Friday afternoon from my LSS (along with some Jillibean Soup goodies) and one of the May sketches from PageMaps.

I took these pictures of Nate in April. He started T-ball last week and he hadn't hit off a tee since June of last year. He's more familiar with his Dad pitching the ball to him, so I was afraid of what would happen when he had to use the tee.

Well, he killed it! I didn't need to be worried, but it was good to see that he's all set for the season. They've had two practices already and he's faster than the rest of the kids, and hitting and catching well above his level. He'll do great and learn a lot this season. Proud of him!

Thanks for stopping by to see my page. I'm continuing to work on the new design to my site. I'm not sure if I'll keep the dynamic template, but we'll see.

Imaginisce {monthly challenge}

Hi! For the month of May, Imaginisce has a challenge for you. We want to see:
• The color pink
• Flowers
• Bling

Here is the little card I made using the elements of the challenge. The center of the card is a small brad using the i-top.

If you have time, you should stop by Imaginisce this month and play along! Thanks for stopping to see my teenie tiny card today.

Precious Remembrance {layout}

I've been using stamps a lot on layouts lately. They add a unique twist to your pages, don't you think?

For this page, I used the Calendar Stamp Set from Precious Remembrance Shop. I also used the 6x6 paper pad, Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks, from My Mind's Eye. The colors and textures worked out perfectly for this manly page.

You can see better in the close ups how I used the "Adventures" stamp as a border strip along the bottom of the photo. I used the "Things to do" tabbed stamp for the side of the pic. And the "April" stamp is right on the wooden camera.

The picture on this page is of Nate and his Papa sitting on Papa's nephew's motorcycle. Before you all yell at me in the comments (*wink*), I promise they did not even have it turned out — it was purely for the picture. My little boy wouldn't be riding around willy-nilly on a bike without helmets or even at that age. Cute pic, though. :)

Stop by Precious Remembrance Shop and scoop up a few stamp sets for your pages! And thanks for stopping to see my layout today. It's one of my recent favorites!

Decorate with a doily & Blogiversary winners!

ScrapFIT is challenging you to use a doily on your next layout. I used two for my page: A real one along the bottom in my embellishment cluster, and then I used a second one that is a mask available in the May kit from Scrapbook Circle

I used the May kit from Scrapbook Circle - The Story to make my layout. I fell in love with the colors and the super fun clouds chipboard from Bella Blvd. The mask is from Pink Paislee and so easy to use. I just put it down and dabbed at it with white ink for the effect I wanted.

If you don't follow my blog all the time, the picture is of my sister (far left), mom, me and my son. We all got together in March and had a fun weekend away together. We don't get to see each other very often, so it was so fun to get to do that.

Hope to see you over at the ScrapFIT challenge to use a doily!
