Home decor with rosettes
Weeks ago I picked up a set of two of these great frames from Pier 1 Imports. I had them in my scrap room still in the box for well over a month. I just couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with that center portion.
I tend to put fabric in frames, and of course the obvious pictures of family, but these frames begged for something a bit different.
I ended up using vintage sheet music for the background paper. Then, on top of the glass, I affixed a hand-made rosette and vintage button. The paper I used for the rosette was from the scraps I have left from my Scrapbook Circle Anniversary kit. (You can see the papers in that kit HERE.)
The paper is called Daily Junque Tabs. I really like both sides of this paper, so it's definitely one of those pieces where I will need a few more sheets.
Thanks for stopping by to see my wall decor today! And don't forget that the giveaway for the $10 store credit to Scrapbook Circle is still going on. You'll find THAT POST HERE.
And, if you love the rosettes but don't make your own, you can purchase rosettes from my Etsy shop. Thank you to those that placed orders last week. I still get so happy when someone purchases something from my little shop. I love sharing crafty goodness! :)
