doodle it up!

Is a no-picture layout still a layout? Or is it a notebook doodle sans the homeroom teacher and the homework?!

The latest challenge at Who's That Girl is RISKY BUSINESS. Do you take risks? Do you avoid them? We wanna know! I personally think that I take a risk every day. I commute from the far west side of the county, all the way through the city, and then into the the next county. My drive takes about an hour, give or take 5 minutes, each way. Two hours of highway traffic each day.

I thought about using a picture of my car, but yawn... how boring! Then we started prep work for the Scrapfreak Birthday Crop, and I was presented with the task of looking at the scrappers I admire and why.

One of the girls I chose is WTG's founder, Bree. I love how Bree freely doodles on her pages and it always looks so perfect. So, I was determined to doodle more. And with that thought, this page was born. This page was version #2, version #1 was all over the map and sad, sad, sad.

So here is my doodling risky page. Hope you like it! And I hope you play along with us! Head on over to the Who's That Girl challenge blog, see what the other girls came up with, and share your page with us!

I also have a testimonial for today!
If you're like me and mist first, worry later, this little bad boy can of carpet cleaner will be your best friend! Dear hubby saw my misting mishap on the carpet in the scrap room over the weekend... needless to say, I had to clean it up pronto!

I found this little handy item at the store and it is fabulous! The mist(s)... shhhhh, it was more than one color... had been there for quite some time and this cleaner fixed it all up super easy. And the smell wasn't that bad either. Which is good since the scrap room is right next to Nate's room. I'm not a fan of harsh smells while he's trying to sleep.

OK, thanks for listening to me ramble! Hope you are off to a good start this week!

DIANA I LOVE THIS!!!! I am so serious. I love the misting, the doodling is perfect, love those letters and the journaling is awesome. In fact there is not one thing on this "layout" that I do not LOVE...and yes, I'd consider it a layout!! Love, Jess

Love the doodling page - yes - it is definitely a layout! And a fab one at that! My biggest risk these days seems to be eating the hottest dang salsa you can find, an hour before bedtime. Yeah.....it's always followed by a severe case of "I can't sleep because I have heartburn and my stomach is gonna blow up." Yet, I never learn.

OK, you know I LOVE your stuff. But seriously, what is going on??!! I need some of that secret mojo solution you're taking. This is BY FAR my most favorite thing from you to date. O. M. G. Again (and yes, I commented on tomorrows post before this one so this is an "again" to tomorrow's comment...does that make sense) DAMN, girl! You have inspired me!!!!! Look out for TWO Diana-inspired projects coming soon. (Ooh, maybe I'll combine...) XOXOXOXOXO
