reading is fun and a video!

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing with you another page from the Scrapbook Circle March kit. It's the last of the four that I have made so far. And you know what... I still have a ton of pieces and paper left over! I'm sure I could make 2-3 more!

This page shows pictures of my son and BFF Dar's daughter, Karissa, reading books to each other. They are both really into the Pre-K readers. They are the Stage 1 reader books that you can find pretty much everywhere.

Nate probably has 10 of them in stages 1-2. He absolutely loves to read and can already do his letters.

And I never post videos on here, but this one goes right along with the topic for this page... and I am such a proud mama!! Here's a video of Nate doing his letters. He's 3 years old!!! I can't believe he can do this. I'm sure other kids can, but as a mom, I assume he's the smartest kid on the planet.

And, if you ever wondered what my voice sounds like... here it is. Heidi, do I have an accent?? (inside joke...)

i love that he didn't want to show you "three". :) such sillies! he'll write his letters and chat away, but he can't show you his fingers! hee hee.

The layout is great - and I am impressed! A 3 year old that knows how to write the letters of the alphabet - especially in such a way that I can actually read it - is IMPRESSIVE!
