World Card Making Day 2012

Hello and Happy World Card Making Day! I love this day — each year scrapbookers and card makers gather together to create handmade cards on a single day in October. I am happily listed on the Paper Crafts Magazine's linky. Stop by there and follow the hop for inspiration.

These are the two cards I made with the Aspen Grove kit from Cocoa Daisy. This first card focuses really well on the custom leaf stamp. I used a green paint dabber to apply the stamp in order to get that watercolor look.

This next card shows off all of the amazing fall colors and Simple Stories papers in the Aspen Grove kit. Even though I did use the tab stamp up in the top corner, it also shows what great cards you can make with just paper. If you don't have any stamps, you can still get in on World Card Making Day!

Hop around the blogosphere today and check out the Paper Issues Facebook page, Paper Crafts, Moxie Fab, Two Peas... there are lots of sites getting in on WCMD. Enjoy! And thanks for stopping by here during your WCMD fun.
