get meaningful - cherished

Here is my Something Cherished page for Lesson #22 at Get Meaningful. I'm so excited to be a part of Bree's newest Get Meaningful DT! I really enjoy the prompts, and I like that I have a chance to explore and create on topics that are meaningful to me.

Lesson #22 is up and ready for you to play along. Are you up for the challenge? Get Meaningful will help your journaling as well as help you to create a book all for you! (Can you tell I'm excited?!)

This page is about Love Stone. My husband got this for me more than eight years ago, around the time we first started dating. I carry it in my purse everyday. When I saw this prompt, I thought about what I would be terribly sad to lose. Something I couldn't replace because of the meaning tied to it and not the dollar value. Love Stone was an obvious choice.

Every once in awhile I'll look at it and think back to when Brad and I were younger. We were so silly, and the stone makes me smile and think of the day he got it for me. If you can read my handwriting, click on the first image to read the journaling.

I hope this got you thinking about what you cherish. Head on over to Get Meaningful and start scrapbooking for you!

Supplies: Prima (pp), Prima (flowers), Amy Butler (butterfly), Basic Grey (letters), misc. buttons
