boys like butterflies, too!

I am loving the challenges over at Scrap That! Not only is LG one of the best sketch artists, but the girls over there are super nice. This layout is for their Week 3 Challenge for August. Check it out!

It's not too late to play along. You can still get points for catching up with the layouts from week #1 and week #2.

And a big shout out to Maureen, our friend from her wonderful MoMoStamper esty store. I finally found the perfect place to use some of the wonderful butterflies I bought from her. I sprayed them with a mix of Glacier Glmmer Mist and Vanilla Glimmer Mist, layered them and viola, beautiful butterflies!

Yeah, boys can have pretty things on their pages, too! :)

Supplies: Imaginisce (pp), Sassafras Lass (flowers), MoMoStamper (butterflies), Fancy Pants (transparency), American Crafts (Thickers), K&Co. (stickers and gems), Martha Stewart (glitter)

I LOVE this layout. And, yes, boys do like butterflies and flowers (especially if they're not pink and purple). How did you make the butterfly trail? It's so cool looking. I love those MoMo butterflies!

The butterfly trail is drawn with a white glue pen and then the glitter sprinkled on it. I had trouble getting the extra glitter off the transparency though. A little static cling going on there!

Diana, I am loving this. I seem to have a much harder time with boy pages, but this totally rocks! This is great inspiration. I love how you used flowers and butterflies on a boy page, and yet it works. I am gonna have to play around with this idea.
