pink ninjas - chicks
Here is my page for this week's Pink Ninjas prompt: Chicks. When I saw the prompt I knew I was going to do something about my sister. She is my baby sister, by 14 years. We are the bookends with two brothers in between. We live states and states away from each other (big bummer on a daily basis), but I have started my "Ashley Goes To College In NY" campaign. If you'd like to sign the petition and contribute to out-of-state tuition dollars, just let me know (lol).
Ash and I have called each other 'sissy' for as long as she could talk. I love her and she is my CHICKIE! Thanks for the prompt, Ninjas! If you'd like to play, check it out here!
I have to give credit to the sketch I used. My DT friend, LG, over at Memories Always - Forever has a sketch challenge for August. Her sketch is so easy to use and her challenge is to make the page in under an hour. I was able to, and if I hadn't hand cut so much from Cosmo Cricket papers for the embellishments, I would have finished the page in a half hour. That's fast!
Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Early Bird (pp), Basic Grey (letters), K&Co. (gems), Tim Holtz (tea dye distressing ink)
