I love the nautical trend, so when I saw the Unchartered Waters collection from Glitz during this past CHA, I instantly ordered it. After it arrived on my doorstep (thanks Cassie and her Paper Issues Shop!), I just admired it all for awhile. It was too pretty to even use.
In a texting convo with my bestie, Sara, I had snapped this pic of what I had worn to work that day. YES! My love for navy and white stripes was suddenly the inspiration I needed to crack open my stash of Uncharted Waters.
So, it may seem silly to be scrapping a picture of my shirt that doesn't even have my face in it — but I love this! I even branched out and used navy for my background paper. Shocking... I know. :)
Thanks for stopping by here today to see my page and read the ramblings about how I ended up with this layout. Random as it is, this is one of my new favorite pages.

that's such a fun page! A piece of everyday life:) I love this line too and I'm not usually someone who even remembers the name of a line!
So glad I finally get it see your whole finished layout! I agree. This is one of my favorites of yours! I love the pink and navy prominence on this page- 2 of my favorite colors! I bought the papers from this line... I need to get up the courage to cut them up! :S I like how you cut apart the circle garland too. I wondered what to do with that. Absolutely LOVE IT!!
This is so so cute! I knew you'd do magic with this line!
Absolutely awesome layout! I LOVE these papers and you mixed them fabulously!!!
A fav piece of clothing is a great "time capsule" type of layout. It'll be great to look back on and compare years from now.
I hoarded by Uncharted Waters for a while before breaking into it too - it's the most gorgeous collection! I love how you used the navy as the background, and the photo is really cool, I want to take more fun photos like this that capture everyday life! x
