This month should be no different! The first challenge for the month of December is:
1.. Your layout should be based on the theme of childhood – itFor my GDT sample page, I focused on Nate's childhood. I used the frames from some wonderful Sassafras Lass paper I have been hoarding for many, many months. For the layering, I used Maya Mist, paint and paper all on the background paper. Then I used the fussy cutting, the ribbon, the string and the button felt flower for even more dimension.
can be your own or someone else.
2.. Use a frame of some kind in the design of your layout
3.. Use layers – can be paper, ribbon, whatever you like, but
layer it up!
I hope your mind is racing with great ideas for this challenge! Link your entry up at The Studio blog. We'd love to see what you come up with.
And a big thank you to Amanda for asking me to GDT for The Studio for the month of December! The inspiration over there is amazing; I'm flattered to be included with these women.
THE STUDIO'S RULES:
You have until 31st December to enter your layouts for a chance to win December’s prize (to be announced next week)! To enter your layout for a chance of winning the prize you need to upload a picture to your blog, gallery or the gallery here at the studio. Then post your link to Mr Linky in the sidebar! We’d love it if you came back and posted here too, but as long as Mr Linky has your link you’ll be in the running for the prizes! If you are struggling to upload for any reason then you can email me your layout and I will post it up for you.
We will also be selecting February’s guest designer from the entries to the December challenges. The rules are the same as last month:
1. Join in with both December challenges (1st and 16th of month)
2. Come and get chatting in the community
3. Drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a few sentences about yourself and a link to your blog
