sketchy thursdays - love this boy


Here's my page for this week's Sketchy Thursdays. I knew going into it I wanted to do a top 5 list, but I ended up using quotes from my son's jabber journal. I heard of a jabber journal not too long ago and started one for my son. I altered a notebook that I keep in my purse, and when Nate says something that strikes me as funny, interesting or just darn cute, I write it in there.

This page has some of the ones he was saying at the end of 2008 when this picture was taken.



Supplies: Cosmo Cricket (pp), Daisy D's (pp), Jenni Bowlin (chipboard and letter stickers), Half Full Martini (journaling spot), Sassafras Lass (chipboard numbers), K&Co. (chipboard lettering), misc. buttons and twine

    This is awesome! Love the grid background, the title work and the mix of numbers. Awesome concept too. Love the idea of a jabber journal!

    My sides are splitting I'm laughing so hard over #3! What does that mean??!! I, too, have always recorded all the cute/cool things the kids have said on my calendar. It's a great resource when scrapping older pics or to just peruse for a good laugh!
