Smile... {cocoa daisy}

Today I am sharing another page using the Cocoa Daisy December kit, Hello my name is... For this page, I want to focus on that amazing custom stamp I used in the bottom right area of the layout.

I also used the fabulous orange wood grain washi in the kit to mark the emotion in the stamped box. Don't always need to use a check mark — the washi gets the job done!

Thanks for stopping to see my layout today. Such gorgeous colors and patterns in this kit. Scoop on up on the Cocoa Daisy site, and grab some add-ons while you are there!

hello... {cocoa daisy}

Were you on the Cocoa Daisy forum with us last night for the reveal of the Hello my name is... December kit? If you were, you saw the reveal of the add-on kits. I made this page using pretty much just the How've you been add-on kit.

The banner is from the OA Sew fun banners. You don't have to sew them — they make great die cuts.

Thanks for stopping to see my page today. This is the start of a few days of Cocoa Daisy reveals. Such a great un-holiday December kit. Scoop one up if you can!

Holiday door frame

Sometimes your wreath just needs to be square. No rule says they all have to be round, right?! For my holiday front door wreath this year I used an ornate white frame I had laying around and some fun red and teal embellishments I had picked up at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago.

The colors match my tree and decorations for the season. It just makes me happy to pull into the driveway and see this hanging on the front door. Did you make your wreath yet? Have ideas? Leave me a comment — would love to hear what you have planned!

*******

Reminder to join me tonight at 9 p.m. (EST) at Cocoa Daisy for the reveal of the Hello my name is... December kit. See ya over there!

Housewarming {LowCal FITkit}

Did ya' see my LowCal FITkit I designed? I just love it! Thanks to Cassie at Paper Issues for letting me have a crack at this.

If you'd like to claim one all for your very own, take a peek at the shop HERE. Use my code DIANA20 at checkout — making it a very affordable collection of goodies.

This is the layout I made with the kit. I added in just the cardstock and some mists — all the rest is just the kit.

These wooden buttons are amazing. I just love the extra touch they give to the page. And the canvas stickers are great, too. Great texture and color.

Thanks for stopping by here today. You can win this kit by playing along at ScrapFIT with my color challenge, or you can buy it at Paper Issues and use my coupon code for the discount. Try for both! You'll want extras — trust me!

Sneak peeks {cocoa daisy}

Happy Monday! If you are in the States, I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend for Thanksgiving. Now, back to the grindstone we go!

These are just a few of the sneak peeks I have for you for the Hello my name is... December kit from Cocoa Daisy.

I was a busy bee last week and just kept creating with this kit. I made 2 Project Life sleeves, a card and 3 layouts with plenty left over to keep right on going.

Make sure to stop by the Cocoa Daisy site on the 28th at 9 p.m. (EST) for the reveal party on the forum. We have fun and there are always prizes as well as interesting conversation — so hope to see you then.

Sketch challenge {Core'dinations}

Welcome to the 2nd Hard Core Crop! They are bringing in the Holiday season with challenges designed to get you inspired to create for the Holidays. Please make sure you head over to the Core blog for crop rules.

And, if you feel like chatting, there is a Facebook HCC crop page here for you to chat and hang out with fellow Hard Core Croppers so make sure you head over there, too. You never know when challenges or giveaways will pop up!

Today I have created for you a sketch to play along with (above), and here is my sample page. The theme is holidays, so I went with Halloween. I used Core'dinations paper for the main page, using the Cameo to cut some leaves on the page. The negatives of those leaves are them also embossed using a embossing folder and the Big Shot to add texture. Core' papers emboss so well!! And I'm finding that they are also a dream to work with in the Cameo.

This Sketch Challenge entries for this challenge must use the Linkinz below. If you do not have a blog, please feel free to use Photobucket or Flickr or any other photo sharing sight and provide a link. Challenges must include Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock (and anything else you might want to add). You may NOT combine this challenge with any of the other HCC challenges but you may complete this challenge as many times as you like. You must link by 8 p.m., December 2nd (Sunday). We do ask that all creations are newly created for this event.

The winner of this challenge will receive an Imaginisce iRock and TWO Core'dinations Cardstock Cut & Emboss pads

Thanks for visiting my blog, and I'm so glad you could stop by and play along with us!

Core'dinations challenge {imaginisce}

Imaginisce has teamed up to be a part of the Core'dinations Hard Core Crop week. The challenge at Imaginisce is to use your tools! Imaginisce is known for amazing and innovative tools — so let's break them out and put them to good use.

I made this little gift using both my Cameo (for the box) and the i-Top along with the punch that goes with the i-Top and the medium sized twist daddies and barrettes. And... I also used my Big Shot to emboss the Core'dinations paper on the centers of the barrettes. Lots of tools going on with this challenge!

The challenges at for the Hard Core Crop week are supposed to be Holidays based. I used the Love You More stickers on this gift, and it is a Christmas present for a darling little girl named Madison. :)

Stop on by the Imaginisce blog to see the post for our challenge to use your tools, and then swing by the Core'dinations blog for more details on all of the participants.

Hope to see you playing along, and I'll be back tomorrow with another chance to play!

Iron-on motif {imaginisce}

This week, the ladies at Imaginisce are using the iron-on motifs. I chose this fabulous Fleur de Bling version. The papers and stickers are from the Love You More collection just released from Imaginisce.

Did you know you can iron on paper? I used the cute little i-rock Mini Iron from Imaginisce. There aren't any settings to fumble around with and it works perfectly with the bling.

Thanks for stopping to see my card. All week the Imaginisce blog will be sharing ways to use the iron-on motif bling. Stop on by and see what everyone else made.

New arrival and thank you cards

I've been pretty busy lately with cards, and with the holidays approaching it's not likely that will slow down. Time to start the holiday cards, right?!

But before the holidays get started, here is a new arrival card I made using the Cameo. I used baby carriage by Lori Whitlock and the stamp is from Papertrey Ink.

And these cards are too cute not to share here. Nate had a few friends and family members send him little notes and activities to keep him occupied after he had his tonsils out. We made these little cards as his thank you notes. It was so fun working on these with him.

So glad you could stop in today and see what I've been working on. I appreciate it!
